What is going on?

On July 4, 2026, our country's 250th birthday, we survived 250 years of growth, while our liberties have only gone and will continue to go down hill. Our standing in the world is shot. Our corruption is on full display, and there is no reason for anyone to trust it will get better so long as the voters keep accepting it. The past 250 years taught us what not to do for the next 250 years. We need to try something completely different.

As Americans, when our government no longer represents us, it is our duty to cast off such government and install a new one. With that goal in mind, my platform is to permanently remove politics from state government and keep it out of local government.

Politics is the problem, not the solution. I am opposed to all political parties, including Libertarians. My campaign is not endorsed, supported or even recognized by the Libertarian Party of Idaho or the National Libertarian Party. Many of my policies are not representative of blanket libertarianism. All political parties have completely lost contact with the voters of Idaho.

As a conservative libertarian, I am strongly opposed to abortion, open borders, and legalizing narcotic drugs. I strongly support substantial reductions in state agencies and state taxes.

I am opposed to sending any money and weapons to any country. I am opposed to giving public benefits to any immigrant, legally here or otherwise.

I am opposed to any state policies that are intended to bring more businesses and more people into Idaho. Let's just lift up the businesses and people we already have. If we want to grow Idaho, we should invite counties in eastern Washington and eastern Oregon to join us.

Beating Gov. Little is very unlikely, considering his virtually unlimited campaign financing thru his close association with the Big Ag industry in Idaho. I am not willing to waste your money or my money against Gov. Little's money machine, but I am sensing a populist rejection of the Boise political establishment, and it may be time for some real and significant change.

Voting for me should be considered as a vote against the entire corrupt political establishment in Idaho. My campaign is not about me, it is about you. It does not matter that I just turned 78 years old, because it is your life, family, community, and future at stake here. I won't be around to see it, but my kids and grandkids will, hopefully. We need to elect career people, not career politicians. I have no desire to be your leader, you need to stand up and lead yourselves.

I am opposed to any efforts to privatize our public lands. Idaho is not for sale.  Visit the Sagebrush Institute to help the fight against the privatization of our public land.

If elected, I want to invert the political system in Idaho and make counties and local government the top layer. County governments are more democratic because your elected representatives are your neighbors. They share your social and economic community. They go to your same stores, churches and schools. Make sure your local representatives know, and understand, who they are representing. Big government urban politicians couldn't care less about our rural communities or people.

The idea here is to give counties the right to self-rule, set their own regulations, fund their own social programs and collect their own taxes. Almost nothing needs to change and the transition would be simple, fast, and seamless. Federal land is still federal land, state land is still state land, county land is still county land, city land is still city land, and private land is still private land. No borders need to move and no addresses need to change. Local businesses would simply send their state income tax withholding and state sales tax receipts to their county instead of their state. Revenue sharing would go the opposite direction. County voters will decide how much county revenue, if any, to share with their state government. 

Your county commissioners would become your primary representatives instead of your state legislators. The commissioners can put a binding independence referendum on the county ballot this November. This does not require any federal or state constitution changes. Counties already have taxing authority, so no new legislation would be needed here. Public property ownership is unaffected. Your local voters can decide if, where, and how, to use the various taxes for funding your local services. 

A lot of politicians are calling for ending property tax. Property taxes fund your local government and public services. The state will determine how much your community gets and how you can use your land. They would be able to build data centers and subsidized high density housing for "homeless" people without local approval. The urban areas will simply "relocate" their "problems" to rural communities. This would also be an enormous gift to the ultra wealthy campaign donors, as usual, who have substantial real estate holdings and no means of avoiding the tax.

Eighty percent of the delegates to the recent Idaho GOP convention supported eliminating rural government and putting our corrupt RINO state government in complete control of our communities. This must be stopped.

Get politics out of government. The existing state government would be the bottom layer in the new political structure. The state government should only be concerned with non-partisan statewide issues that benefit the entire state and that everyone can agree needs to be done. The only statewide offices should be transportation/highways/road and fuel taxes, the state Attorney General, and the Secretary of State. Keeping our roads safe is of utmost importance for Idaho.

The overall economic policies of Idaho should be small government, minimal regulations, and support local businesses. I would reduce the responsibility of the state legislature to doing almost nothing, which is currently all they do now. They could work one week per year and get paid $100 per day.

The state income tax and sales tax would go away. This would greatly benefit Idaho workers and consumers. If all the counties in eastern Washington and eastern Oregon joined Idaho, the population of Idaho would be more than 3.5 million.

The counties can implement policies that attract more people and more businesses to widen their economy or implement policies that lift our existing businesses and people without bringing in Californian or foreign immigrants.

Donating to political parties and candidates is just a money laundering scheme. They want you to spend your money knowing that third party candidates have no chance of beating the political establishment and their money machine. I am not accepting any donations from individuals or businesses. I have no money of my own, so I will be relying on free press and word of mouth to get my message out.
